Sam is a motivated professional with over 30 years of experience in the 

construction industry, specialising in electrical contracting and building design 

consulting focused on technology and energy efficiency.  As a former Business 

Owner, Sam successfully led a firm while fostering team collaboration and 

efficiency in project execution. He has been a licensed A-Grade electrician since 2002 and published “Homes with a Heartbeat” (2016), offering insights on

intelligent home design.

He also hosted the podcast “SPACES” (2018-2020), discussing innovative 

design solutions. 

​

Sam’s personal life revolves around his family, including three children and dogs. 

His passion for basketball is endless, where he’s contributed as a state-level
coach and as his local Basketball Club vice-president. 

​

In 2019, Sam was recognized as the club’s Volunteer of the Year.
He embraces nature and adventure and takes joy watching his kids pursue
their athletic interests.
